This charming neighborhood is very social and as such this family needed a proper front garden to invite friends and neighbors to visit and stay a while to relax. A new brick front walk and patio were created to accommodate this. In the backyard, a play area was first priority. In addition, the family needed a place to grill and wanted to eat outdoors. We created a large stone and brick patio to blend seamlessly with the existing brick work in the garden. The existing Japanese Maple was highlighted by night lighting and the planted borders were filled with brightly colored plants that provide interest all year. This garden has gone from ‘just okay’ to truly beautiful and has become the most used room of the house.
